Description

Based on an idea from my portfolio, the project vEARTH was revived as part of the Back to the Past seminar by Franka Sachse.
A perfect sphere floats in empty space. After a short time, a portion of its surface disappears, while cuboid structures emerge, resembling a city. Moments later, the structures collapse, and the sphere regenerates. This process repeats in two other areas of the sphere, forming a continuous cycle.
As the cycle accelerates, the sphere and its structures begin to resemble a machine. Over time, the sphere deteriorates, with less and less time to recover. At the climax of the animation, it fractures into an asteroid field—only to implode shortly after.
